NetworkManager or dbus package got updated and the services restarted. ZMD listens for dbus signals, but the code in opensuse 10.2 was not robust enough to handle to dbus restarts. Thats why zmd died. This has been fixed for SLE10 SP1 release. Anyway Zenworks is no more part of openSuSE. So marking this as resolved.
