When the system rebooted, I told it not to continue the installation. Boot runs fine, but when I try and have Yast enter the configuration of the video card OR the keyboard !!! First I looked at the keyboard driver though which was correct! (it was not correct under runlevel 5) Then I did the display driver configuration. It seemed to work, but the display hangs on exit. This time the system does not crash. It is reachable via telnet. In fact the terminal responds. No longer actively tested I'm afraid. I suggest to use 'sax2 -a -r' for configuration. Possibly you need to reboot afterwards into graphics mode and start SaX2 on top of the running Xserver for further adjustments to xorg.conf. If these are required. You did this in a similar way already.
