When I try the command: # /etc/init.d/vboxadd start It complains that 'modprobe vboxguest' (by heart) failed. It seems that the library or module vboxguest misses (from the rpm I think). Another thing is when 'vboxadd setup' is ran, it complains that msg_begin misses. $ ssh root@192.168.4.165 Password: Last login: Fri Nov 27 14:54:16 2009 Have a lot of fun... linux-geis:~ # rcvboxadd setup /usr/sbin/rcvboxadd: line 262: begin_msg: command not found done linux-geis:~ # rcvboxadd start Starting the VirtualBox Guest Additions failed (modprobe vboxguest failed) The rpm comes from the repossitory: http://download.opensuse.org/repositories/Virtualization:/VirtualBox/ Precise virtualbox (rpm) version not known at this moment. The version was installed around the end of november.
