https://bugzilla.novell.com/show_bug.cgi?id=651600 https://bugzilla.novell.com/show_bug.cgi?id=651600#c0 Summary: gnome-typing-monitor does not reset after resume (from suspend to disk) Classification: openSUSE Product: openSUSE 11.2 Version: Final Platform: i686 OS/Version: openSUSE 11.2 Status: NEW Severity: Normal Priority: P5 - None Component: GNOME AssignedTo: bnc-team-gnome@forge.provo.novell.com ReportedBy: Ulrich.Windl@rz.uni-regensburg.de QAContact: qa@suse.de Found By: --- Blocker: --- User-Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (X11; U; Linux i686; en-US; rv:1.9.1.15) Gecko/20101026 SUSE/2.0.10-0.7.1 SeaMonkey/2.0.10 When try gnome-typing-monitor suggests a typing break every hour or so, and the next break is due when the user decided to suspend the machine, the whole suspend phase (in which the user could not work) is trated as a "zero time" interval, i.e. gnome-typing-monitor still insists on having a typing break immediately after resume. Reproducible: Always Steps to Reproduce: 1. activate the gnome-typing-monitor (via gnome-control-center, gnome-keyboard-properties) to suggest a delayable break every hour (or so) 2. Work (i.e.: type)... until GNOME suggests having a break, then suspend to disk 3. Have a long break, then resume from suspend to disk Actual Results: As soon as you loged in again, GNOME suggests having a break Expected Results: gnome-typing-monitot should realized that some time has elapsed (where the user was not active) since it suggested a typing break. -- Configure bugmail: https://bugzilla.novell.com/userprefs.cgi?tab=email ------- You are receiving this mail because: ------- You are on the CC list for the bug.
