[Bug 792337] New: server:eGroupWare/eGroupware-1.8: Bug
https://bugzilla.novell.com/show_bug.cgi?id=792337 https://bugzilla.novell.com/show_bug.cgi?id=792337#c0 Summary: server:eGroupWare/eGroupware-1.8: Bug Classification: openSUSE Product: openSUSE.org Version: unspecified Platform: i586 OS/Version: openSUSE 12.2 Status: RESOLVED Severity: Normal Priority: P5 - None Component: 3rd party software AssignedTo: RalfBecker@outdoor-training.de ReportedBy: phelgerman@gmail.com QAContact: opensuse-communityscreening@forge.provo.novell.com Found By: Customer Blocker: --- Paul Helgerman <phelgerman@gmail.com> changed: What |Removed |Added ---------------------------------------------------------------------------- Status|NEW |RESOLVED Resolution| |DUPLICATE eGroupware-1.8 fails to build on openSUSE Build Service project for openSUSE_12.2 repository on i586 architecture (and also openSUSE_Tumbleweed). If I understand the failed Build Logfile RPMLINT report correctly, the blocking problem is a leftover Vim swap file: /usr/share/egroupware/importexport/inc/.class.bodefinitions.inc.php.swp The error shows up on line 21744 of the Build Logfile: [ 267s] eGroupware-importexport.noarch: E: suse-filelist-forbidden-backup-file (Badness: 10000) /usr/share/egroupware/importexport/inc/.class.bodefinitions.inc.php.swp is not allowed in SUSE [ 267s] backup files (e.g. files ending in ~, .swp or .bak) are not allowed Perhaps if you delete this forbidden backup/swap file, the build service will allow the packages to build? Thank you for your work on eGroupware. This has been a valuable piece of software to sync my Nokia N900 calendar with my desktop openSUSE installation for years. After I upgraded from openSUSE 11.4 to 12.2, I noticed that the eGroupware repository was empty. A trip to the openSUSE Build Service page indicated the reason for the empty repository. My existing installation of eGroupware seems to be running just fine under openSUSE 12.2, however any updates will be missed because of the empty package repository.
