It can properly detect Windows and non-Btrfs Linux systems (Mageia Cauldron and Fedora 25 on ext4). However, it is unable to properly detect Btrfs-hosted Linux systems. I also resynchronized the Mageia package of os-prober with OpenSUSE and Fedora patches, and confirmed the same problem. Please see mga#20359 (linked in See Also).
