[Bug 627551] New: Theme changes unexpectedly
http://bugzilla.novell.com/show_bug.cgi?id=627551 http://bugzilla.novell.com/show_bug.cgi?id=627551#c0 Summary: Theme changes unexpectedly Classification: openSUSE Product: openSUSE 11.3 Version: Final Platform: x86-64 OS/Version: openSUSE 11.3 Status: NEW Severity: Normal Priority: P5 - None Component: KDE4 Workspace AssignedTo: kde-maintainers@suse.de ReportedBy: td@pre-secure.de QAContact: qa@suse.de Found By: --- Blocker: --- User-Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (X11; U; Linux x86_64; de; rv:1.9.2.8) Gecko/20100723 SUSE/3.6.8-0.1.1 Firefox/3.6.8 Sometimes the KDE has a different theme than configured. This can clearly be seen for the control panel. I'm not sure whether the remaining desktop items keep their theme or not, but I think they're affected as well. In the KDE system settings I chose "AIR openSUSE", but at least the control panel keeps changing back to "Oxygen", which was the default IIRC. Reproducible: Always Steps to Reproduce: I've found two ways: Alternative A: -------------- 1. Select non-default theme in system settings. (I only have a German version handy: Erscheinungsbild & Verhalten -> Erscheinungsbild -> Arbeitsbereich) 2. Start etracer in fullscreen mode. You probably need a different resolution for etracer than for your normal KDE4 desktop. 3. Quit etracer Alternative B: -------------- 1. s. above 2. Log off from KDE. 3. Log onto to KDE. Actual Results: At least the control panel changed the theme to Oxygen. Expected Results: KDE should stick to the theme that was configured by the user in KDE system settings. When theme A (!= Oxygen) is selected and after the theme changed to Oxygen, you can get KDE to use the old theme by choosing theme B (!= Oxygen and != theme A) and choosing theme A afterwards. -- Configure bugmail: http://bugzilla.novell.com/userprefs.cgi?tab=email ------- You are receiving this mail because: ------- You are on the CC list for the bug.
