It might be reproduced in an updated Os by mv /root /root2 mkdir /root "(changed during the 2011-02-20 Open-Bugs-Day about bugs for obsolete versions of openSUSE)" dom feb 20 16:37:31 UTC 2011 -- Configure bugmail: https://bugzilla.novell.com/userprefs.cgi?tab=email ------- You are receiving this mail because: ------- You are on the CC list for the bug.

B.: I omitted to say that I just not only mkdir root and leave empty, but I also take the files and directories from /etc/skel to fill the new root. However, empty or just filled with /etc/skel, this issue still takes place in RC2, except if there were a previous root KDE settings. -- Configure bugmail: https://bugzilla.novell.com/userprefs.cgi?tab=email ------- You are receiving this mail because: ------- You are on the CC list for the bug.

It is running in VirtualBox4.0.6 so when there is interest I can make a export of the virtual machine and provide it to you. It´s a 64bit guest, so you need hardware virtualisation abilities on you CPU.
