The hack I had to apply was to build pango without BuildRequires:gobject-introspection and polkit without Requires:ConsoleKit and to put these temporary files into /srv/obs/build/$PRP/$ARCH/:full (note: fresh strap, there has been no openSUSE for $ARCH previously), just to kick off the building process. That may be reasonable in a porting effort, but do we have to have these hurdles? python's cycle for example (xorg-x11 requires python requires xorg-x11) was once nicely solved by having a python-base.spec.
