NM-kde4 needs to remove NM-kde. NM-kde works if NM-kde4 is not installed. 2) NM-kde4 does not appear to retain the password for the cdma modem. If modem is in the express slot when the system powers up (cold boot or return from suspend) nm-kde4 will dial the modem and remain online for several minutes before disconnecting. If you insert the card while the system is running, the modem is seen, the system tells you that the modem is there, NM-kde4 changes icons to show that it sees the modem, but it will not dial.
