The message does not say no update was needed. It says that a file is missing. I just checked a SuSE 10.2 system with the exact processor and motherboard. There is no such message with that system. -- Configure bugmail: https://bugzilla.novell.com/userprefs.cgi?tab=email ------- You are receiving this mail because: ------- You are on the CC list for the bug.

I can't find anything else in the log that gives a hint which init script is doing this? How can I find what microcode should be updated? -- Configure bugmail: https://bugzilla.novell.com/userprefs.cgi?tab=email ------- You are receiving this mail because: ------- You are on the CC list for the bug.
