[Bug 456653] New: gimp + xsane combination forgets to remove temporary files.
https://bugzilla.novell.com/show_bug.cgi?id=456653 Summary: gimp + xsane combination forgets to remove temporary files. Product: openSUSE 11.0 Version: Final Platform: Other OS/Version: Other Status: NEW Severity: Normal Priority: P5 - None Component: X11 Applications AssignedTo: bnc-team-screening@forge.provo.novell.com ReportedBy: robin.listas@telefonica.net QAContact: sndirsch@novell.com Found By: --- When I use xsane on its own, it creates temporary files for the preview, and erases them on exit. However, if you start gimp, then scan an image (file, acquire, xsane: device dialog), and then quit gimp (without manually quiting xsane manually, but letting gimp automatically close xsane), the temporary files are left. A new session creates new files again. If you first exit xsane, then gimp, the files of that session are removed. Notice that scanned files can be sensitive material! cer@nimrodel:~> rpm -q gimp xsane gimp-2.4.5-41.1 xsane-0.995-79.1 -- Configure bugmail: https://bugzilla.novell.com/userprefs.cgi?tab=email ------- You are receiving this mail because: ------- You are on the CC list for the bug.
