https://bugzilla.novell.com/show_bug.cgi?id=893650 https://bugzilla.novell.com/show_bug.cgi?id=893650#c0 Summary: [Factory 20140820] NetworkManager not working Classification: openSUSE Product: openSUSE Factory Version: 201408* Platform: i686 OS/Version: SUSE Other Status: NEW Severity: Normal Priority: P5 - None Component: Network AssignedTo: bnc-team-screening@forge.provo.novell.com ReportedBy: sb56637@gmail.com QAContact: qa-bugs@suse.de Found By: --- Blocker: --- User-Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (X11; Linux x86_64; rv:31.0) Gecko/20100101 Firefox/31.0 Hi there, on both the current 20140820 Factory snapshot and the previous one, both for Gnome and KDE, NetworkManager isn't working, at least not for WiFI and when testing the live system on a USB drive. My WiFI card is successfully detected and powered on, but I had to manually start the NetworkManager service. Even then, the Gnome and KDE interfaces to NetworkManager can't seem to communicate with NetworkManager or establish a connection. Reproducible: Always -- Configure bugmail: https://bugzilla.novell.com/userprefs.cgi?tab=email ------- You are receiving this mail because: ------- You are on the CC list for the bug.
