Today I have installed the NVIDIA driver with the one click install option, OKE. The only thing I notice now is that the "My Computer" info screen still displays under "Display Info" the "nv" driver while in YaST/Hardware/Hardware information/Display/GeForce 8400 GS the nvidia driver is shown. To see whether it makes any difference I have shutdown my system and restarted it after 2 minutes but the displays stays the same. I also noticed a discrepancy in vertical frequency 60 vs 50 in YaST/Hardware/HardwareInformation/Display/Resources/Resolution/1280x1024 and KDE-PersonalSettings/General/ComputerAdministration/Display/1280x1024. Can I nolonger configur my videocard/display in Yast? I cannot find this option.
