[Bug 951453] New: No non-latin letters on IceWM
http://bugzilla.opensuse.org/show_bug.cgi?id=951453 Bug ID: 951453 Summary: No non-latin letters on IceWM Classification: openSUSE Product: openSUSE Distribution Version: Leap 42.1 RC1 1 Hardware: Other OS: Other Status: NEW Severity: Normal Priority: P5 - None Component: X11 Applications Assignee: bnc-team-screening@forge.provo.novell.com Reporter: ftake@geeko.jp QA Contact: qa-bugs@suse.de Found By: --- Blocker: --- On IceWM under Japanese (possibly Chinese, Korean, etc.) locale, non-latin letters are not shown on its application menu, task bar, and window titles. The new default theme of IceWM, zpaker, specifies the "droid sans" font in its default.theme. The font should support Japanese but this problem happens. Workaround: - Switch into another theme by Menu => "Settings" => "(T)" => "icedesert" # Note that the second menu item (localized string of "Theme") is not shown - Modify and remove lines specifying fonts from: /usr/share/icewm/themes/zpaker/default.theme -- You are receiving this mail because: You are on the CC list for the bug.

I have no questions if you guys drop it, it's just a branding package for ICEwm which is to make it more fashion and can be configurable in other packages.
Just for the receord, we'll try to come up with a new branding solution which would adapt for both openSUSE and SLE for SP2.. (I just need to write a FATE for that) -- You are receiving this mail because: You are on the CC list for the bug.

That's good, but we can readd this later in Leap 42.2, right? -- You are receiving this mail because: You are on the CC list for the bug.
