I have added the repository (As per http://en.opensuse.org/Evolution-MAPI_HowTo) Run the command: zypper in evolution-mapi evolution-mapi-lang evolution-mapi-debuginfo evolution-data-server Install fails: Resolving package dependencies... 2 Problems: Problem: nothing provides openchange = 0.8 needed by evolution-mapi-0.25.90-1.1.i586 Problem: evolution-mapi-lang-0.25.90-1.1.noarch requires evolution-mapi = 0.25.90, but this requirement cannot be provided Problem: nothing provides openchange = 0.8 needed by evolution-mapi-0.25.90-1.1.i586 Solution 1: do not ask to install a solvable providing evolution-mapi Solution 2: break evolution-mapi by ignoring some of its dependencies Choose from above solutions by number or skip, retry or cancel [1/2/s/r/c] (c): c If I select 2, then Evolution Starts, but in the Plugin List the MAPI plugin is not enabled it, I enable it, then close and reopen Evolution, again the plugin is disabled. If I re-enable the plugin and do not restart Evolution I am unable to connect to the Exchange server, authentication keeps on failing. Reproducible: Always Steps to Reproduce: 1.Add repository 2.Try to install 3.Install fails Actual Results: The Details section contains a comprehensive description Expected Results: Work -- Configure bugmail: http://bugzilla.novell.com/userprefs.cgi?tab=email ------- You are receiving this mail because: ------- You are on the CC list for the bug.

/usr/bin/evolution: symbol lookup error: /usr/lib64/samba4/lib64/libmapi.so.0: undefined symbol: talloc_free
Looks like you haven't installed libtalloc. Could you please install all the rpms which are there in repository and try again. -- Configure bugmail: http://bugzilla.novell.com/userprefs.cgi?tab=email ------- You are receiving this mail because: ------- You are on the CC list for the bug.

rpm -qa | grep libtalloc libtalloc1-32bit-3.4.2-1.1.3.1.x86_64 libtalloc1-3.4.2-1.1.3.1.x86_64 libtalloc2-2.0.1-9.1.x86_64
The rpm version is different from what i have in repository because there are the rpms in repository libtalloc1-1.3.1-3.1.x86_64.rpm libtalloc-devel-1.3.1-3.1.x86_64.rpm Could you please forcefully downgrade or upgrade all the rpms from above repository using yast2 software manager. I am repeating again, all the rpms should be from the repository [1], other wise evolution-mapi won't work.
