I can load all the sites of Gmail, Google or Yahoo on Konqueror. However these sites do not load in any of the other browsers mentioned above. My firefall is turned off and I am able to ping these sites. No extensions are installed in Firefox. I am also unable to connect thro Gaim. I do not get any error messages except for a time out message after a long time. This problem was not present when I initially installed Suse 10.1. However the option "update name servers and search list via DHCP " was clicked off and the problem was resolved.
