To trace I: # sudo strace -f -ttt -o /tmp/yast2 YaST2 # strace -f -ttt -o /tmp/firefox firefox I'm using openSUSE 11.0 KDE 3.5 (latest patches) I've attached strace of YaST2, hardware info file and Yast IRQ error screen. I guess YaST reloading the whole sound system, and usb-audio isn't still properly set up. What is the content of /proc/asound/cards?
