[Bug 480743] New: flashplayer update: no longer detected by Konqueror/KDE4 or KDE3
https://bugzilla.novell.com/show_bug.cgi?id=480743 Summary: flashplayer update: no longer detected by Konqueror/KDE4 or KDE3 Classification: openSUSE Product: openSUSE 11.1 Version: Final Platform: x86-64 OS/Version: Other Status: NEW Severity: Normal Priority: P5 - None Component: X11 Applications AssignedTo: bnc-team-screening@forge.provo.novell.com ReportedBy: bluedzins@wp.pl QAContact: qa@suse.de Found By: --- flashplayer update: no longer detected by Konqueror/KDE4 or KDE3 Yesterday (?) there was flash player update, and Konqueror from KDE3 stopped playing flash files. I updated flash player to the latest version the same thing. So I checked both Konq3 and Konq4 (KDE 4.2.0) what is going on -- i.e. I scanned for plugins -- and the flash plugin was _removed_ from the list. This means that flash player is no longer recognized by Konqueror. -- Configure bugmail: https://bugzilla.novell.com/userprefs.cgi?tab=email ------- You are receiving this mail because: ------- You are on the CC list for the bug.

This time works in Konq3, Konq4 and FF (previously it didn't work with any of those). Before and now Opera only worked with flash player, but since it works even with uninstalled flash, I believe it is embedded in code somehow. So, I don't know the cause of the problem, but it works for me now so closing. -- Configure bugmail: https://bugzilla.novell.com/userprefs.cgi?tab=email ------- You are receiving this mail because: ------- You are on the CC list for the bug.
