After submit request with changes are accepted, the origin branch is broken with 'could not apply project.diff'. I tried to reproduce it using my home projects, but it seems that is depends on some autobuild/ibs handling (maybe the increase of Release number). What I've done (isc means osc -A https:/api.suse.de): isc branch SUSE:SLE-10-SP3:GA tomcat5 isc co home:mvyskocil:branches:SUSE:SLE-10-SP3:GA/tomcat5 # added some patches and commited the work to branch several times isc sr # created sr 636 After a request was accepted by autobuild team, the home:mvyskocil:branches:SUSE:SLE-10-SP3:GA/tomcat5 is broken with error message mentioned above. The isc cat shows me, that it contains the patches and project.diff, even if those changes was accepted by autobuild team. $ isc ls home:mvyskocil:branches:SUSE:SLE-10-SP3:GA tomcat5 _link apache-tomcat-CVE-2008-5515.patch apache-tomcat-CVE-2009-0033.patch apache-tomcat-CVE-2009-0580.patch apache-tomcat-CVE-2009-0781.patch apache-tomcat-CVE-2009-0783-2.patch project.diff The differences between working copy and SUSE:SLE-10-SP3:GA $ diff -u tomcat5/ SUSE\:SLE-10-SP3\:GA/tomcat5/ Common subdirectories: tomcat5//.osc and SUSE:SLE-10-SP3:GA/tomcat5//.osc diff -u tomcat5//tomcat5.spec SUSE:SLE-10-SP3:GA/tomcat5//tomcat5.spec --- tomcat5//tomcat5.spec 2009-06-22 10:34:56.394775043 +0200 +++ SUSE:SLE-10-SP3:GA/tomcat5//tomcat5.spec 2009-06-12 11:33:28.000000000 +0200 @@ -58,7 +58,7 @@ %define workdir %{_localstatedir}/cache/%{name}/base/work Summary: A servlet container Version: 5.5.27 -Release: 0.<RELEASE6> +Release: 0.<RELEASE7> License: BSD 3-Clause; The Apache Software License; X11/MIT; zlib/libpng License Group: Productivity/Networking/Web/Frontends Url: http://jakarta.apache.org @@ -797,6 +797,20 @@ %{serverdir}/webapps/* %changelog +* Wed Jun 10 2009 - mvyskocil@suse.cz +- fixed bnc#509839: + CVE-2009-0781 + * http://svn.apache.org/viewvc?view=rev&revision=750928 + CVE-2009-0783 + (revision 681156 is already a part of 5.5.27) + * http://svn.apache.org/viewvc?view=rev&revision=781542 + CVE-2008-5515 + * http://svn.apache.org/viewvc?view=rev&revision=782757 +* Mon Jun 08 2009 - mvyskocil@suse.cz +- fix of CVE-2006-3835: bnc#194425 - VUL-0: tomcat information disclosure + - http://svn.apache.org/viewvc?view=rev&revision=332127 +- fix of CVE-2007-1358: bnc#274241 - VUL-0: tomcat4: XSS via Accept-Language headers + - http://svn.apache.org/viewvc?view=rev&revision=483329 * Wed May 06 2009 - ro@suse.de - comment out prereq for jdbc-stdext again (see change from Apr 19 2006) Only in tomcat5/: .tomcat5.spec.swp The possible workaround is to remove patches and a project.diff from branch and remove those lines <patches> <delete name="apache-tomcat-CVE-2009-5515.patch" /> <apply name="project.diff" /> </patches> from _link and use isc up. -- Configure bugmail: http://bugzilla.novell.com/userprefs.cgi?tab=email ------- You are receiving this mail because: ------- You are on the CC list for the bug.

Michal, please keep the broken state the next time for debugging.
See comment#5 - every of those branches are now broken (including the tomcat5 for SP3) - feel free to use every for debugging. I can give you permissons if you'd like. I suppose that a main problem is that a new patches/sources and project.diff remains in _link after sr is accepted, even if those changes was applyed in origin project. -- Configure bugmail: http://bugzilla.novell.com/userprefs.cgi?tab=email ------- You are receiving this mail because: ------- You are on the CC list for the bug.
