So the three above boot scripts will only be executed if there is currently demand for them that means if there is a DMRAID device, a MD device or a LVM Volume groupt present in the system. If these are not present, there will be a call "insserv -r" for the according boot script, if at least one of the corresponding devices is present there will be a call to "insserv" (without -r).
