Not really reproducible but 1-2 times in an 8 hour time frame. As proposed in dmesg I filed a bug at freedesktop.org: https://bugs.freedesktop.org/show_bug.cgi?id=104839 Regards, Jan -- You are receiving this mail because: You are on the CC list for the bug.

Unfortunately it will take a while before we build Mesa 18 for openSUSE, and unless there is a somewhat clear way to reproduce this, I'm afraid we can't try to spot the change in 17.3.3 either. CC msrb - you worked on Mesa lately. Do you think we could go back to 17.2.6 in Factory for a while, until Mesa 18.0.0 is out? -- You are receiving this mail because: You are on the CC list for the bug.

Today I didn't have any further GPU hangs but I will keep an eye on it. -- You are receiving this mail because: You are on the CC list for the bug.

Then we'll keep 17.3.3, and as soon as we update to Mesa 18.0.0, you can change back to the distribution package. Let's close this as RESOLVED UPSTREAM. If you can, please let the upstream developers know that your machine is stable once you're confident. Will try to test with upcoming RC releases. -- You are receiving this mail because: You are on the CC list for the bug.

Again, just FTR: As reported upstream no further GPU hangs with 18.0 RC3 the past days. Will try to test with upcoming RC releases.
Thanks for the update, Jan! May I ask, where you found Mesa 18.0 RC in our buildservice? -- You are receiving this mail because: You are on the CC list for the bug.
http://bugzilla.opensuse.org/show_bug.cgi?id=1077998 http://bugzilla.opensuse.org/show_bug.cgi?id=1077998#c8 --- Comment #8 from Jan T <jaltek@mailbox.org> --- Sure. I took this home repo: https://build.opensuse.org/package/show/home:mimi_vx:test/Mesa which I copied over to my on repo to stay on RC3 https://build.opensuse.org/package/show/home:jaltekger/Mesa Off-topic: However with the latest TW upgrade I had a new problem: SDDM shows only a white screen and I don't know what is causing it. Reverting Mesa back to 17.3.3 resolved it (I was able to login again) but then the GPU hangs came back :( So now I'm trying to revert Mesa back to 17.2.6... As Mesa 18.0 is not yet official I didn't opened an other issue. -- You are receiving this mail because: You are on the CC list for the bug.
