[Bug 410674] New: Hyperlinks in Kmail (composer)
https://bugzilla.novell.com/show_bug.cgi?id=410674 Summary: Hyperlinks in Kmail (composer) Product: openSUSE 10.3 Version: Final Platform: Other OS/Version: Other Status: NEW Severity: Enhancement Priority: P5 - None Component: KDE AssignedTo: kde-maintainers@suse.de ReportedBy: noelamac@gmail.com QAContact: qa@suse.de Found By: --- Currently running opensuse 10.3 / kmail 1.9.9 (kdelibs3-3.5.9-51.2 and kdelibs4-3.93.0.svn712047-6.2 installed). In this kmail release I cannot see any option to make links this way while composing html formatted e-mail. This is a well-known requested feature for so long via upstream (1), but it seems there is a patch (in kde bugzilla) to provide this. So I wonder if this is already available in any version of kmail 3.5.x for openSUSE right now or maybe is to be implemented shortly :-? Thanks :-) (1) Bug 102924: Creating hyperlinks in composer http://bugs.kde.org/show_bug.cgi?id=102924 -- Configure bugmail: https://bugzilla.novell.com/userprefs.cgi?tab=email ------- You are receiving this mail because: ------- You are on the CC list for the bug.

This patch seems to have been comitted for kdepim 4.1 so we should have it on openSUSE 11.0 and in the KDE 4.1 RC1 packages. It will be never/not available in KMail 3.5 though as its development is dead.
As per openSUSE 11.1 RoadmMap (1), it seems that kde 3.5.10 will be included with the new suse release. So, will kde 3.5.10 include this feature for KMail? *** Major areas of interest: GNOME 2.24 KDE: KDE 4.1.1 (optionally also KDE 3.5.10) OpenOffice.org 3.0 Continued improvement in the software update stack Linux kernel 2.6.27 (or later) *** (1) http://en.opensuse.org/Roadmap/11.1 -- Configure bugmail: https://bugzilla.novell.com/userprefs.cgi?tab=email ------- You are receiving this mail because: ------- You are on the CC list for the bug.
