You could try cleaning the zypp cache and rebuilding it from scratch: zypper clean -a zypper ref Do you use some HTTP proxy? Or maybe there is a transparent proxy in your network, or another proxy on the way or someone nasty modifying the traffic... For community repositories YaST downloads the list from http://download.opensuse.org/YaST/Repos/openSUSE_Leap_42.3_Servers.xml.
