https://bugzilla.novell.com/show_bug.cgi?id=279074 Summary: YasT2 "add-on" module incomplete Product: openSUSE 10.3 Version: Alpha 4plus Platform: Other OS/Version: Other Status: NEW Severity: Normal Priority: P5 - None Component: YaST2 AssignedTo: bnc-team-screening@forge.provo.novell.com ReportedBy: jt@newmarket.k12.nh.us QAContact: jsrain@novell.com while trying to automate the "add-on" process for the EDU-CD we have encountered an error in the YaST2 module "add-on". It should according to MAN take the command line "yast2 add-on cd:///" to install packages at the root of a cd ,which does not work the command returns "there is no interface for that module available" man yast2 says that "yast2 add-on longhelp" should give me more info, but it starts the gui "add-on" module looking for /longhelp media. Which means that add-on doesn't support Command Line interface. Where exactly did you find that information that add-on module supports cd:// as a parameter? -- Configure bugmail: https://bugzilla.novell.com/userprefs.cgi?tab=email ------- You are receiving this mail because: ------- You are on the CC list for the bug, or are watching someone who is.

Anyway, add-on module really supports the command-line as you've written. This bug was made by fixing bug #269886. - Fixed Add-On client to provide command-line again. Providing "help" and "longhelp" (#279074).
