tsc-deadline is not related to this issue. qemu fails similarly with -cpu host.

I've updated 42.1 to 42.2, but I run Leap 42.1 on similar machine.

What do you mean by "qemu log" file?

Thanks for your confirmation. I thought you are using libvirt, but you may be not, my bad. BTW, are you working on local build? have you also updated your build environment? like stuff under "/var/cache/obs/worker/root_1", have you tried "osc ci" to run it on obs server? Otherwise, I may need your help on some debug info, like add "-D /tmp/qemu.log -d trace:kvm_vcpu_ioctl" in qemu command line.
