Switching workspaces is instant in 11.1 on the same box, and the same version of radeonhd. -- Configure bugmail: http://bugzilla.novell.com/userprefs.cgi?tab=email ------- You are receiving this mail because: ------- You are on the CC list for the bug.

Although I did a clean install of 11.2 m7, I kept my /home partition from 11.1. I've since removed the following from $HOME/: .gnome2 .gtkrc-1.2-gnome2 .gnome2_private .gvfs .dbus .gnome-system-monitor.bart .turnpike .dbus-keyrings .gtk-bookmarks .gnome .gtkrc Now this problem is no longer present. Gnome needs to be fixed to be able to handle upgrades. -- Configure bugmail: http://bugzilla.novell.com/userprefs.cgi?tab=email ------- You are receiving this mail because: ------- You are on the CC list for the bug.

Is this using compiz or metacity? Looking at the directories you removed, only the .gnome/.gnome2 directories can possibly be relevant to this (afaik). I'd be interested to know if you can reproduce the issue by restoring those two directories. If yes, then we'd probably need to investigate which file causes this... -- Configure bugmail: http://bugzilla.novell.com/userprefs.cgi?tab=email ------- You are receiving this mail because: ------- You are on the CC list for the bug.
