Neither keyboard input nor mouse movements have any effect. The unlock window (to enter password) does not appear. Virtually nothing happens. System access via ssh from another system works. Rebooting via ssh works, session lost though. I could not find any error message in - /var/log/messages (just the ssh connection and the reboot is visible) - /var/log/warn - /var/log/Xorg.0.log - ~user/.xsession-errors or any other logfile I checked System info: SUSE10.3 2.6.22.17-0.1-default kdebase3 3.5.9-67.2 I know, this bugreport violates the "reproducibility" criteria, but - the problem happen twice within 2 weeks, time of inactivity is not really known (user info not reliable) - what should I do next time to encircle the problem? - what processes should I kill instead of rebooting? -- Configure bugmail: https://bugzilla.novell.com/userprefs.cgi?tab=email ------- You are receiving this mail because: ------- You are on the CC list for the bug.
