This time it worked. The most notable difference was that after my issuing "ifup dsl0", "ifconfig" showed not only a "lo" scetion and a "dsl0" section, but also a "eth0" section. I had configured "eth0" in the previous attempt, though. Since DSL is now working, I lower the severity to normal. From log it seems that kernel module for netcard wasn't load (and can't connect dsl) and after that loads and it starts to work. If you be able to reproduce, just repoen bug
