Like 1% of your CPU while the rest of the system is idle? ;-)
Yes, strange. A bit earlier, the load was higher and, later, when I killed it the system became responsive again. Maybe, it was bad luck and a coincidence with autobuild. beagled seems to crawl done directories again and again (or something like that). That's a typical beagle-status info: Pending Tasks: 1 Delayed 0 (5/22/2007 9:01:07 AM) Crawling /usr/src/ke/suse-i18n/branches/SLE10SP1-20070504/yast/to-trans-2007-03-22/y2-ko It just keeps the HD busy--I probably should check Power Management options... I guess things work as designed and I propose to close my bug as invalid. -- Configure bugmail: https://bugzilla.novell.com/userprefs.cgi?tab=email ------- You are receiving this mail because: ------- You are on the CC list for the bug, or are watching someone who is.

https://bugzilla.novell.com/show_bug.cgi?id=276544 ------- Comment #7 from larsno1@comhem.se 2007-06-09 09:56 MST ------- After latest update of main menu (?), beagled-helper occupies up to 99% of cpu and doesn't seem to stop. I have let it be for up to 10-15 mins but it still keeps on running, occupying up to 99% of cpu. It seems that it never finishes whatever it is doing or trying to do. I have tried to stop the process but it doesn't work. I have to kill the process 5 times before beagled-helper behaves (or at least doesn't occupy all cpu). -- Configure bugmail: https://bugzilla.novell.com/userprefs.cgi?tab=email ------- You are receiving this mail because: ------- You are on the CC list for the bug, or are watching someone who is.
