Please, start ooo from a terminal again, and "export SAL_SYNCHRONIZE=1" before, to disable X11 asynchronicity. -- Configure bugmail: http://bugzilla.novell.com/userprefs.cgi?tab=email ------- You are receiving this mail because: ------- You are on the CC list for the bug.
From my point of view everything works now. But I do not know what did cause

This problem is only on one computer with AMD Phenom(tm) II X4 945 Processor and nVidia G96 [GeForce 9400 GT] with 2D driver: nouveau and 3D driver: nouveau Gallium (7.8.1) On other it works out from the box. It also works if I create a new user. Only problem with the first users created at installation. I renamed the .oo3 and then it started and works OK. I can reinstall it again if you think this is necessary or this just was something that can happen. this in the first place. -- Configure bugmail: http://bugzilla.novell.com/userprefs.cgi?tab=email ------- You are receiving this mail because: ------- You are on the CC list for the bug.

I'll keep the status to needinfo, if for whatever reason you don't find time, just set it back. -- Configure bugmail: http://bugzilla.novell.com/userprefs.cgi?tab=email ------- You are receiving this mail because: ------- You are on the CC list for the bug.

Sorry, but it works. I went back to the old one one and run it with the debugger. The result is attached. I also attach a dirdiff between the working and the crashing .ooo3. If the .ooo3//user/registry/data/org/openoffice/Office/Recovery.xcu is removed everything works. The question is why it crashed the first time an created the recovery of the empty "untitled" document. The erroneous Recovery.xcu is attached. Re the gdb log file. I do not understand how to solv the following as things quickly get outdated Missing separate debuginfo for /usr/lib64/ooo3/ure/lib/introspection.uno.so Try: zypper install -C "debuginfo(build-id)=dc00d1221238a6f1db597dcc9d922a7d8e463226" # zypper install -C "debuginfo(build-id)=dc00d1221238a6f1db597dcc9d922a7d8e463226" Loading repository data... Warning: Repository 'Updates for openSUSE 11.3 11.3-1.71' appears to outdated. Consider using a different mirror or server. Reading installed packages... 'OpenOffice_org-ure-debuginfo' providing 'debuginfo(build-id) = dc00d1221238a6f1db597dcc9d922a7d8e463226' is already installed. Resolving package dependencies... Nothing to do. To summarize this. The very first time openOffice was started it crashed for some unknown reason and created the faulty recovery. I cannot reproduce it. But one could expect openoffice to be more fault tolerant for this. -- Configure bugmail: http://bugzilla.novell.com/userprefs.cgi?tab=email ------- You are receiving this mail because: ------- You are on the CC list for the bug.

Back to as before but this time there is now way to work around it. When starting OO it claim that it has a file notitle-1 to restore. Whatever I choose to do it recover the file and then crash.
