Sometimes there were network errors (mirrors not reachable, download error), sometimes post-install scripts were interrupted (taking too long?).

- Network errors are frequent, mirrors in this corner of the world are few and slow. Sometimes an overnight set of package updates is unresolvable for a whole day, then fixes itself the day after presumably when a missing package for the new updates shows up. - No post-install scripts were ever cancelled intentionally. I believe I cancelled a post-install once accidentally because installs can take very long, take an unpredictable time, and those post-install pop-ups appear randomly and annoyingly grab focus. Therefore when continuing to work on other things with the install running in the background it's impossible not to type random keys into the pop-up.
