It happens only on kde4. KDE3.5.10, LXDE, XFCE start well The problem. Once started, it goes on crackling even when I log off from kde4. The only way I have found to make it stop crackling is to log in KDE3. It's a creaking sound and as it is permanent, it is very irritating.
