https://bugzilla.novell.com/show_bug.cgi?id=278529 Summary: sound driver - too much timeout messages Product: openSUSE 10.2 Version: Final Platform: Other OS/Version: Other Status: NEW Severity: Normal Priority: P5 - None Component: Sound AssignedTo: tiwai@novell.com ReportedBy: mzugec@novell.com QAContact: qa@suse.de Hi Takashi, I have TouchPad T60 with "Lenovo 82801G (ICH7 Family) High Definition Audio Controller" soudncard using "snd_hda_intel" driver (system is full-patched openSUSE 10.2) Sometimes I have a problem, that sound doesn't work. In dmesg I found many warnings/errors like this : ALSA sound/pci/hda/hda_intel.c:574: hda-intel: send_cmd timeout: IRS=0x1, val=0xf5ff0009 .. Mostly when I restart alsa service (and this reloads driver) it works fine. My kernel version is 2.6.18.8-0.3-default If you need any logs/system info just ask me (but I think it's known duplicate probably) -- Configure bugmail: https://bugzilla.novell.com/userprefs.cgi?tab=email ------- You are receiving this mail because: ------- You are on the CC list for the bug, or are watching someone who is.

So, it'll be fixed on 10.3 without extra adjustment.
