I chose "Installation" when booting from the CD, not the default "Live CD" option. The installation script also print an error message on exit, but there were no apparent recurrent problems. (Will: tell us if you did anything different, so we can find a common denominator. For instance, did you also install via VirtualBox? Did you run install directly from the grub menu, or the live desktop? Were you connected to the internet?)
