So I'd like to add a timeout (I am not interested in the return code anyway). Timo, is it enough to wait for 200ms for the bug to not trigger? --reply-timeout=200? -- Configure bugmail: https://bugzilla.novell.com/userprefs.cgi?tab=email ------- You are receiving this mail because: ------- You are on the CC list for the bug.

NM log file would show how long each device takes. In general though, I've never heard of any problems with it (hanging), it's the same method that can be called from the applet as well. -- Configure bugmail: https://bugzilla.novell.com/userprefs.cgi?tab=email ------- You are receiving this mail because: ------- You are on the CC list for the bug.

With --print-reply, NetworkManager responds appropriatly (and immediatly), but the command itself hangs until I kill it 30 seconds or so later."
