http://bugzilla.novell.com/show_bug.cgi?id=500414 Summary: No special touchpad configuration possibilities Classification: openSUSE Product: openSUSE 11.2 Version: Alpha 0 Platform: Other OS/Version: Other Status: NEW Severity: Enhancement Priority: P5 - None Component: SaX2 AssignedTo: bnc-team-xorg-bugs@forge.provo.novell.com ReportedBy: kamikazow@web.de QAContact: sax2-maintainer-bugs@forge.provo.novell.com Found By: --- User-Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (X11; U; Linux i686; de; rv:1.9.0.9) Gecko/2009041500 SUSE/3.0.9-0.1.1 Firefox/3.0.9 YaST/SaX currently only offers configuration options for mice, but touchpads need more special treatment. There are currently no options to: - Enable/disable "tap clicking" - Enable/disable mouse wheel emulation when sliding the finger at the edge of the touchpad It is already configurable via command line (eg. using the synclient command), but YaST/SaX should offer an easy GUI way for it by openSUSE 11.2. Reproducible: Always -- Configure bugmail: http://bugzilla.novell.com/userprefs.cgi?tab=email ------- You are receiving this mail because: ------- You are on the CC list for the bug.

No, we're switching to runtime configuration and not to more static configuration. BTW, the mouse configuration in SaX2 will be removed for 11.2 as well. It can be configured during runtime as well. -- Configure bugmail: http://bugzilla.novell.com/userprefs.cgi?tab=email ------- You are receiving this mail because: ------- You are on the CC list for the bug.
