At least, fw_dir line can be dropped, I suppose. The default path should already contain the directory with the kernel version number.

Ah! I didn't know this. This would make things already much easier. Still firmware files would need to be available in /lib/firmware/<kernel> for each kernel, which is installed on the machine - somehow handled by dkms. -- You are receiving this mail because: You are on the CC list for the bug.
