[Bug 732908] New: Access to hd or filesystem broken after suspend2disk / resume
https://bugzilla.novell.com/show_bug.cgi?id=732908 https://bugzilla.novell.com/show_bug.cgi?id=732908#c0 Summary: Access to hd or filesystem broken after suspend2disk / resume Classification: openSUSE Product: openSUSE 12.1 Version: Final Platform: x86-64 OS/Version: SuSE Other Status: NEW Severity: Critical Priority: P5 - None Component: Kernel AssignedTo: kernel-maintainers@forge.provo.novell.com ReportedBy: andihartmann@freenet.de QAContact: qa@suse.de Found By: --- Blocker: --- User-Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (X11; Linux x86_64; rv:8.0.1) Gecko/20111121 Firefox/8.0.1 SeaMonkey/2.5 After a resume from suspend2disk, the filesystem access is broken, means: some files do have another md5sum after the resume. Checking the /lib64 directory with md5sum shows (compared with the status after a reboot from resume), that the checksum differs for 3 files: md5sum -c md5sum.out | grep FAILED libcrypto.so.1.0.0: FAILED libkeyutils.so.1: FAILED libkeyutils.so.1.4: FAILED Sometimes, the resume hangs (returning to userspace doesn't appear at all). I recognized the problem. because wpa_supplicant crashed with the following message: wpa_supplicant: symbol lookup error: /lib64/libssl.so.1.0.0: undefined symbol: RAND_add Machine is a MSI CR620: 00:00.0 Host bridge: Intel Corporation Core Processor DRAM Controller (rev 02) Subsystem: Micro-Star International Co., Ltd. Device 1033 Flags: bus master, fast devsel, latency 0 Reproducible: Sometimes Steps to Reproduce: 1. Suspend2disk 2. Resume 3. Try to start a program Actual Results: The machine doesn't work reliable any more. Expected Results: The machine should be reliable after a resume as usual. I can't say, if the problem always happens, because I just can notice it, if a file is used, which is affected. -- Configure bugmail: https://bugzilla.novell.com/userprefs.cgi?tab=email ------- You are receiving this mail because: ------- You are on the CC list for the bug.
