[Bug 909883] DomU guest fails to boot if guest /etc/stab includes 'journal_checksum': "EXT4-fs (xvdc1): changing journal_checksum during remount not supported"
http://bugzilla.suse.com/show_bug.cgi?id=909883 --- Comment #20 from Thomas Blume <thomas.blume@suse.com> --- (In reply to grant k from comment #19)
(2) with patched dracut
same behavior
add oem-modules=1 to kernel line in /boot/grub/menu.lst enable journal_checksum for "/" in /etc/fstab mkinitrd reboot
DomU boots, but mounts fs in 'ro' mode can't make any changes
recovery via 'kpartx ...', undo changes, reboot
Could you boot the machine with the additional parameters: debug rd.debug and provide /run/initramfs/rdsosreport.txt when the machine goes into the emergency shell? Btw. it seems you are using a kernel from factory. Can you also reproduce the issue when using a stock 13.2 kernel? -- You are receiving this mail because: You are on the CC list for the bug.
