http://bugzilla.opensuse.org/show_bug.cgi?id=955085 Bug ID: 955085 Summary: Kernel crashes in liveUSB Classification: openSUSE Product: openSUSE Distribution Version: Leap 42.1 Hardware: x86-64 OS: openSUSE 42.1 Status: NEW Severity: Normal Priority: P5 - None Component: Kernel Assignee: kernel-maintainers@forge.provo.novell.com Reporter: hillwoodroc@gmail.com QA Contact: qa-bugs@suse.de Found By: --- Blocker: --- Created attachment 655937 --> http://bugzilla.opensuse.org/attachment.cgi?id=655937&action=edit kernel-crash-log I used KIWI to create a liveCD image, this image could boot in virtualbox. But if I wrote it in USB disk, the liveUSB could not boot and kernel could crash. I found liveUSB could auto format the last partition of USB disk as btrfs, and the btrfs cause kernel to crash. I could format the last partition as ext4 to fix this problem. -- You are receiving this mail because: You are on the CC list for the bug.

Could you give your KIWI config.xml, etc, for reproducing here locally?
