The critical error seems to be "mount: /dev/loop0: Invalid argument". The surrounding lines look like mount /download/file_0001 -> /mounts/mp_0000 insmod /modules/squashfs.ko mount: /download/file_0001: we need a loop device mount: using /dev/loop0 mount: /dev/loop0: Invalid argument instsys mount failed: /mounts/mp_0000 disk: mount ok but test failed I'm not really sure how to gather more information, but together with the other bug I just reported (which blocks nfs installs), I'm still hunting for a way to successfully install 11.2 over the network. (11.1 worked fine.) If you are absolutely sure that's not the case, please boot with linuxrc.log=/foo linuxrc.debug=1 and attach the log. Also, the kernel messages on console 4 might give a hint. They are also in /var/log/boot.msg.
