Programmer <casualprogrammer@yahoo.com> 2007-11-09 10:13:00 MST --- This seems to be a residue of Bug 294269, due to an unsolved problem in the Intel driver, the parameters for the Amilo Si 1520 had been set to fbdev, thus disabling resolutions above 800*600 as well as 3D. When I change /usr/share/sax/api/data/cdb/Cards entry from Intel:945 GM (FSC Amilo Si1520) { Flag = DEFAULT Driver = fbdev } to Intel:945 GM (FSC Amilo Si1520) { 3DDriver = intel Flag = 3D Extension = dri Driver = intel } it seems to work.
