Open YaST2 (Qt) -> Software Repositories. 2. Add a repository using "Specify URL...", for example http://download.opensuse.org/repositories/openSUSE:/Tools/openSUSE_11.1/ , name it "openSUSE:Tools". Make sure you didn't have that repository already. If you did, remove it first and restart YaST2. 3. Click Edit on openSUSE:Tools repository. 4. Click "Edit complete URL". The ':' character in the URL changes to '%3a', making it http://download.opensuse.org/repositories/openSUSE%3a/Tools/openSUSE_11.1/ . 5. Clicking OK duplicates the repository (one with :, the other with %3a). The new repository is non-removable (probably due to https://bugzilla.novell.com/show_bug.cgi?id=529937 ). Reproducible: Always Actual Results: Two almost identical repositories are added. Expected Results: It shouldn't have converted : to %3a.
