I do not consider it being an invalid bug as the file was not manually changed, but indeed it just stopped working after one aaa_base update around mid-june (there's been several updates since then), so probably it was either an eventuality or an already fixed (maybe even without knowing it) issue.

You might not have changed it intentionally manually, but "something" obviously did. aaa_base hasn't been changed at all, so it definitely was not a problem there that has been fixed.
