https://bugzilla.novell.com/show_bug.cgi?id=475894 Summary: Fix error source for a SIGSEGV crash after launch try for audio player Classification: openSUSE Product: openSUSE 11.1 Version: Final Platform: x86-64 OS/Version: openSUSE 11.1 Status: NEW Severity: Normal Priority: P5 - None Component: KDE3 AssignedTo: kde-maintainers@suse.de ReportedBy: Markus.Elfring@web.de QAContact: qa@suse.de Found By: --- Created an attachment (id=272810) --> (https://bugzilla.novell.com/attachment.cgi?id=272810) remaining function call stack My test user "susi" can play the audio CD "Küssen verboten" (Die Prinzen) fine with the program "Banshee 1.4.2" in a GNOME session. I try the same from my KDE session. 1. I select the tab "computer" from KickOff. 2. The symbol "Audio CD" (/dev/sr0) is displayed on the bottom of the menu. 3. The corresponding context menu is displayed after a right-click where I choose the item "Open with > Others ..." 4. I choose the item "Multimedia > Music > Banshee" from the list of known applications and click on the OK button. 5. Kicker gets aborted because of a segmentation violation (signal 11). - I hope that a better reaction can be achieved. -- Configure bugmail: https://bugzilla.novell.com/userprefs.cgi?tab=email ------- You are receiving this mail because: ------- You are on the CC list for the bug.
