I wanted to use it to report a boot failure, but I could not figure out how to configure it. Looking at the actual script, a "NETCONSOLE" variable is referenced, but I can't figure out where to define it. Bug #162494 mentions /etc/sysconfig/kernel, but if I set it there, it does not end up anywhere in the contents of the generated initrd.
