feel free to remove /lib/udev/mtp-probe as workaround.
I chose a different solution: There was no /etc/udev/rules.d/39-libmtp.rules (despite of the comment in /lib/udev/rules.d/39-libmtp.rules), so I copied it there. Then I applied the following change (just quick and dirty, but it stopped the endless messages): --- /lib/udev/rules.d/39-libmtp.rules 2011-10-29 08:02:37.000000000 +0200 +++ /etc/udev/rules.d/39-libmtp.rules 2012-01-07 20:37:12.000000000 +0100 @@ -8,6 +8,8 @@ LABEL="libmtp_usb_rules" +# ColorVision Spyder3 +ATTR{idVendor}=="085c", ATTR{idProduct}=="0300", GOTO="libmtp_rules_end" # Creative ZEN Vision ATTR{idVendor}=="041e", ATTR{idProduct}=="411f", SYMLINK+="libmtp-%k", ENV{ID_MTP_DEVICE}="1", ENV{ID_MEDIA_PLAYER}="1" # Creative Portable Media Center -- Configure bugmail: https://bugzilla.novell.com/userprefs.cgi?tab=email ------- You are receiving this mail because: ------- You are on the CC list for the bug.
