It will build against the kernel, and lsmod shows it's "loaded" but I get no functionality from it .. which indicates to me it's not working correctly.. /var/log/messages says it loads.. lsmod | grep nvidia shows it loaded.. But I'm telling you.. after the upgrade of the latest beta 5.. i am having this issue.. This is with Nvidia 177.82 (or 177.80) .. NVIDIA Installation takes a few seconds (used to take much longer, took a long time against the beta 5 from the weekend also). COMPIZ Doesn't work.. (no errors when i launch.. it thinnks it's fine) ..
