Vidar, in comment #10 you told that when booting mode 0x324 (1280x1024) instead of 0x345 (1440x1050) the DVI output works as expected. Now you write that it is related to if the laptop is docked when booting or not. I assume the DVI output is on the docking station - is this correct? When booted while docked does X also work when you boot with mode 0x345

I'm sorry. My fault for beeing inconsistent. Yes, the DVI output is on the docking station. After more exploration of the problem it seems to occour in two cases: 1) If the computer is docked while booting, and using vesafb mode 0x345 output to DVI fails. VGA and PANEL works. Booting with vesafb mode 0x324 DVI works as expected. 2) If the computer has been booted undocked and then connected to the dockingstation, output til DVI port fails. Both VGA and PANEL works as expected.
